FROM THEIR DESKS AT ONE OF THE WORLD'S LARGEST EAR PIERCING MANUFACTURERS, Jay Coogan and Phil Shockman recognized a major opportunity. They saw a need for earrings designed especially for sensitive ears-jewelry that literally every woman could wear. Their new company, Fashion Accents, was founded on this idea. They were able to draw on their ear piercing background, and launched their first line of Earrings for Sensitive Ears shortly after studying the nickel-free concept in Sweden.
Today Fashion Accents is a growing manufacturer of jewelry for sensitive skin, specializing in private label programs for some of the largest and most successful retail stores. Fashion Accents now offers many product lines in addition to sensitive earrings. They also design fashion jewelry, hairgoods, and men's jewelry lines for both junior and contemporary retailers.
